For precise work, it’s even better than a classic razor. With only one exposed blade, you get a clear view of what you're shaving, with nothing in the way. And let’s be honest—it’s also a lot more manly.

A shavette is the modern sibling of the traditional straight razor, but without the hassle of blade maintenance. Instead of sharpening, you simply insert half of a standard razor blade. And when it dulls after a few uses, just swap it out for a fresh one. We’ve even included one Derby Premium blade in the box, so you can try it right away. Pakka-what?

The material might sound exotic, but it’s nothing too crazy. Pakkawood is a highly durable material made by layering hardwood and infusing it with heat-hardened resin. It’s commonly used for knife handles, and we’ve chosen it for our shavette. The big advantage? It’s resistant to moisture, meaning it will stay looking brand new for a long time—even in your bathroom.

How to use?

Snap a razor blade in half (or buy pre-split blades) and insert it into the shavette. Shave as usual—but if it's your first time, take it extra slow and careful.
